Hiking in Shivapuri National Park Shivapuri National park is situated near Kathmandu valley, one of the shortest destination with a lot of hiking routes. Not a lot of preparation and bag-pack is required for one day hiking in this region. Shivapuri National park was our destination on 23rd Apr 2012. As it is not far,we packed 2 ltrs of water,noodles,chips, flat rice,aa well cooked chicken meat along with chang(traditional nepali alcoholic drink ).Then we took a local bus to Narayanthan the base of the Shivapuri National Park.
