With internationally acclaimed b-boying patrons Bojin Chen from Taiwan and J Wang from Thailand will be the judges. It is Mo: Mo: Mania time of the year again! This feast grabs the attention of the Kathmanduties every year especially because of the unlimited momos for the ticket price scheme. The event is organized by The Bakery Café, and this year will see the event’s 12th edition. It is a celebration of contemporary Nepali food culture as they experiment with the momo to incorporate a very innovative and unusual variety to try out. Just as the previous editions, there are plenty of competitions to win, and of course, the chance to eat as much as you can.

Tamang community observing Sonam Losar

People from Tamang community across the nation have been observing Sonam Losar—the beginning of the New Year—by organising various programmes and exchanging good wishes on Tuesday.

In the Capital, Tamangs are due to take out a rally that will converge at Tundikhel, followed by cultural programmes and display of different traditional tools and a variety of traditional food in stalls.
On this very day, the Tamang community spends the day at home with their near and dear ones and feast on a variegated cuisine.
