Do you think you have the talent of entertaining with an acoustic guitar? Are you a fan of acoustic music? Then you should look out for Beatnik Acoustic Band Competition. Participating bands will need to perform a total of two songs for the competition, which can be both covers and originals. Bands will have the option of playing either Nepali or English pieces, or a mix of both. They will be judged by a jury of popular and professional musicians for their one-time performance. The registration fee is Rs. 2,000. The winner will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. The show will start at 11 am and the DJ performance will go on till 2 am in the morning. Guest artists including Rohit John Chettri, Ashra Kunwar and The Hermits will also be entertaining the crowd with their tunes.
